I’m all for doing weddings your own way, and if there’s one place where you can truly express your style, it’s The Matara Centre in Kingscote.
This venue just oozes chill vibes! From the cozy house for getting ready to the tranquil water features and pond in the ceremony garden, Matara creates the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed celebration.
Spring was absolutely in full bloom on this gorgeous Sunday. We were surrounded by blossoms, rich greens, and a warmth in the air that made it the perfect day filled with love.
These two decided to have a private vows before the ceremony, and it was such a beautiful moment to capture. Just the two of them under the trees, holding hands and reading their heartfelt promises to one another, could you think of anything more magical? And then, in a delightful twist, they jumped straight into a lightsaber fight! Now that’s a first for me!
Soon enough, it was time for the legal ceremony, followed by confetti and a lively drinks reception! It’s wonderful to capture all the loved ones congratulating the newlyweds. Once we wrapped up the family photos, we headed over for dinner and speeches. I absolutely love this room; the huge skylight creates such flattering light as I search the room for those genuine reactions.
I have now decided that no dance floor is complete without a piñata! This added so much fun to the evening and definitely got the party started!
