Does anything make you happier than sunshine? This day was completely blessed with golden rays all day long! The outdoor ceremony garden at Cripps Barn is surrounded by the most gorgeous trees, giving it a calm woodland vibe. It’s the perfect place to say your "I dos" surrounded by all the people you love.
We started the day at The Stump for getting ready. While the boys played pool, the girls popped prosecco while having their hair and makeup done. It was such a relaxed vibe, with absolutely no rushing to be ready. Everything ran to plan and perfectly on time.
We all headed over to Cripps Barn for a gorgeous, heartfelt ceremony under the trees and a drinks reception full of bubbles, laughter, and hugs. It’s always a wonderful feeling capturing the guests congratulating you as a newly married couple; their excitement is infectious and leaves my cheeks aching from smiling so much.
The speeches brought both tears and laughter, creating a rollercoaster of emotions for everyone in the room. Honestly, this will forever be one of my favorite parts of the day. Hearing stories and feeling the love that surrounds you both is a joy.
As the sunshine really decided it wanted to play, we ran off to chase it. The fields behind Cripps Barn were full of little flowers, adding to the magic of golden hour.
Some might say cake cutting is an outdated tradition, but as a firm lover of cake, I vote it stays—especially when the couple embraces it like these two did and have the best time. Back into the barn we headed, and the party began: epic tunes, laser lights, and everyone dancing like no one was watching!
