Cotswold Wedding Photographer. Capturing Love at The Painswick: A Cotswold Wedding

Bride and groom entering wedding breakfast at The Painswick wedding venue

I absolutely love all my Cotswold weddings, I'm so lucky to be surrounded by so many beautiful venues! I’ve visited The Painswick, near Stroud, a few times now, but I knew this one would be extra special. I first met these two wonderful humans at a wedding in London last summer, and we just clicked!

Fast forward a few months, and I arrived nice and early at The Painswick to capture their wedding day. I spent the morning with both the boys and the girls, capturing all those little moments and emotions as everyone got ready for an absolutely fun-filled day!

As soon as I walked into the ceremony room, I could feel the excitement in the air. I couldn’t wait to watch Grace walk down the aisle of the stunning dining room at The Painswick. The ceremony began, and the emotions ranged from heartfelt tears to huge belly laughs. The happy couple exited with a sea of confetti, laughter echoing through the venue, ready to embrace the day ahead!

huge hugs and roaring Laughter all day long…

Honestly, the laughter didn’t stop all day long. There was such a buzz of happiness that filled The Painswick. I whisked the couple outside for some family photos and then ventured around the beautiful grounds of The Painswick Hotel, capturing genuine, authentic moments of them just laughing and having fun. Before we knew it, everyone was seated with napkins ready to welcome the newlyweds into the wedding breakfast.

Sing your heart out on the dance floor….

Speeches followed, and I can’t pretend I didn’t shed a tear or two, along with the guests, while trying not to fall over from laughter all at the same time. What a day filled with absolutely awesome people! But we all know a wedding doesn’t end there! Evening guests arrived, and finally, it was time to hit the dance floor. There’s nothing better than watching everyone have the absolute best time, singing their hearts out and letting loose.

The Painswick really was the perfect setting for these two to get married. With a maximum guest list of 60, it kept things intimate and allowed everyone’s personalities to shine through!
